Making a Video
Alright, so I was thinking of making a short 1hr video of my life in California, with all my friends, to send to my family in Japan. I think I found a good deal on renting a digital video camera...now all I need is some editing tools...I know that I need to be able to transfer the video to a PC for editing, but I was thinking of renting the software or maybe downloading some free software to do some cool editing. So my plan is to transfer the video to a DV tape using firewire and hoping to use Windows movie maker (I think I have XP) ...now I need to figure out the detials of encoding...AVI, MPEG2...not sure. I don't really have experience doing this kinda thing, but it may turn out to be pretty cool....and I'm thinking of putting in a Japanese narrative so my family can understand, mixed with some English....but yeah, so if anyone has any suggestions as for editing software or equipment, let me know! I also need some good exciting stuff to put on the video, so I'm still thinking of when I will rent everything....sweet!

Make sure you bring the camera next time you go to the Power Exchange. I'm sure your relatives would love to that.
hahaha! you took it seriously, prof b, awww....
Yeah, now all three of us know you went there. As for the video, just buy a damn digital video camera and edit it on a friend's OSX Mac. Then you can take it to WA and make a movie using that new power exchange toy on b. Now there's a power exchange...you just got that, didn't you?
OH, I remember this blog post... FROM A FRICKIN' YEAR AGO!!!
