Happy Holidays...

So I managed to move to the great city of SF, rent a place of my own and grab a job a UCSF...all in one year...oh, and I guess I also managed to land me a boy as well :) yeah! I've been quite busy to say the least....working two jobs definitely helps money wise, but I'm actually still working, and have been...non-stop, but I guess doing this catering stuff isn't so bad...at least I get to see happy faces when I deliver the food and get to be called sweetheart, so at least it manages to put a smile on my face :) I'm really excited to be living on my own....the space, the freedom, the whatever mentality is starting to set in and it feels great!

I can't believe it's christmas day...I would love to have some actual food instead of eating scraps of leftovers and crumbs I manage to find left in a pan....I'm hoping that I'll be able to do a Christmas after Christmas...we'll see...anyway, this year's been pretty nice and I can't wait till next year...I've sent in my grad school apps....wish me luck, if I get accepted for interviews, I'll be flying to seattle in feb and march....I really hope I get in, then I'll be making a move to the beautiful seattle for at least 5 years before I return to Cali and then hopefully work as a scientist at genentech...but we'll see what happens, I may do a postdoc and become a full-on prof....! hope everyone is having a great christmas! happy happy holidays!
