Places to Have Sex..Any Suggestions?

Alright, I need some suggestions on locations or finding locations to have sex. I unfortunately live at home (with my potential new job, I will probably be making even less $$...so I can't really move yet) and as much as I love having my mom involved in my personal life I don't want her to know and see everything.... so where are other places to go? I was thinking outdoors or somewhere but that could be pain to deal with.....I really need a place of my own, I'm too old to be doing this!!

The Catch

If I take this position at UCSF I'm basically making a promise to stay for at least 2 years. Ahh! I really want to go to grad school and hopefully get into UW but I really don't want to wait 2 years before I start my 5 year committment. Could I just say I'd be there for 2 years and leave later next year? Should I just apply to the schools I wish to get into and later decide whether to accept? Or should I just stay at my current job and try for grad school this year? Could I still get in, without UCSF on my resume? All these questions. My boss took my news pretty well even though he really doesn't want to see me go. He even offered to get me trained as much as possible so I will be more prepared for my next job...I couldn't have asked for a better supervisor. Well, I have to decide be Monday, I'm nervous. I know that by taking the job at UCSF I will also really have to work on getting projects of my own or otherwise I'd be doing the same work I'm doing right now, depending on whether my Professor actually gives me projects that involve more research rather than technical operations. The last thing I want to do is just follow a protocol and never have to think...well, I just hope things work out.

From BioMarin to UCSF Baby!!

Woooo! So I've been patiently waiting to get a position at UCSF and I finally got it!! I'll be working for the Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases within the Prusiner Lab researching prions (mad cow). The only catch is that I need to stay on for at least 2 years...which means putting off grad school for another year...so I'm not as happy about that, but on the other hand, this is a great opportunity and it's what I've been looking for, mainly because it has to do with actually research in neuroscience...so I have to tell my boss tomorrow...ahhh....it's a weird place to be in but I'm totally excited!!!!

Words of Appreciation

Although I am usually pretty good about showing my appreciation to those in my life, I guess it can't hurt to say it again....all my friends, friends from back when, friends from work and friends I've met recently...you guys are great and I admire you all and thanks for being there. It was good to see some folks from work that I haven't seen in a while...always good to see a friendly face. Well, that's all for now...

Horseback Riding in Half-Moon Bay, California

Posted by Hello
Big Basin down in the Santa Cruz Mountains!

I just came back from a great walk around the Lafayette reservoir with a friend of my mine and next week I'm going hiking up Big Basin State Park for the weekend.

Before the end of this month I would also like to go horseback riding again. I took lessons when I was 13 in Hawaii for a year, so I think I remember how to ride. Apparently it's only $50 for 2hrs, including a trip out to the beach. Now I just need to seduce someone into coming with me...

Bellydancing Classes

Posted by Hello

Well, I've been wanting to go do this for some time now and my first class will be on Wednesday for bellydancing. There is also this great Moroccan restaurant in SF that has fabulous bellydancing...I forgot where it was though...this will be fun...

Bed and Breakfast

Where I would like to go next is to a place like Volcano, California. In high school there was a program that allowed some of us to go up there for a weekend and stay at this bed and breakfast...it was so much fun! The place itself is not contemporary at all so it has that great old look to it which I love. I would totally like to go back just because it was so beautiful, with few people, and a great deal to explore, especially in the creek and rivers near by. It's nice to get away from all of this city-urban-work life and see things just as they are and the challenge would be to not bring a cell phone, or any work materials....just an energy to explore, relax, eat good food, and if at all possible, bring a guitar, but some good tunes would do just fine...

Traveling Updates

Me when I was about 6yrs with family in JapanPosted by Hello

This is an old photo...my cousins when they were
younger, uncle and their dog Rug, named after
their favorite sport, rugby...the one on the left is
getting married next month...Posted by Hello

I'm going to Tokyo, Japan from May17-31 to visit my family and see my cousin get married! But before that, I'll be taking another trip up to Bellingham, Washington, it would be nice to take a walk along the river and go fishing, go hiking, and do some fabulous cooking...who knows maybe I'll even be able to get some action up there...seems pretty dead down here.. But maybe that's because I'm hanging around the wrong people! Which state was known to be the most sexually active? I forget, damn it.
